General Terms and Conditions
Satisfaction Guarantee/Free Re-Sit Policy:
After you have completed a paid course, if you are unsatisfied with your training experience for any reason or need a refresher you can re-sit the same class (provided it is the same version) within twelve (12) months of your original course date using your same materials on a space available basis. This free re-sit is only applicable for guaranteed to run Fast Lane delivered courses.
*Additional lab/kit costs may apply to certain courses.
*Free re-sit requests on NetApp classes are only eligible until December 31, 2022.

You may register for courses online or by phone.

Accepted Methods of Payment:
As Fast Lane / Directions Training is not a school, all attendees of Fast Lane / Directions Training classes and/or recipients of Fast Lane / Directions Training’s services must be sponsored and paid for by a business entity. Fast Lane / Directions Training is not allowed to accept payment from any person that will not be reimbursed by a business.
For students attending classes in Virginia and/or for individuals residing in Virginia, payment must be made with a business credit card or PO/check. Personal credit cards or checks are not accepted.
Fast Lane / Directions Training accepts Training Acceleration Program (TAP) funds, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cisco Learning Credits (CLCs), NetApp Training Units (NTUs), Microsoft Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATVs), Gigamon Training Vouchers (GTVs), Purchase Orders (POs) and Corporate Checks. All necessary payment information is to be received at least 15 calendar days before the start date of class, or upon registration, whichever is later. If you are unable to provide payment information upon registration you will be given a tentative seat in the class but you do risk losing your seat in the course. Under all circumstances you must pay in full before being allowed to attend a class – the successful reservation of a vendor’s vouchers/credits is considered paid in full.
Fees:
The registration fee covers course tuition and all course materials. All other fees including parking fees, if any, are not included.
Cancellation Policy:
Public Classes
All requests to cancel a Fast Lane / Directions Training delivered registration must be in writing via e-mail to ClientServices@FastLaneUS.com or faxed to us at 919-882-8036.
You may cancel ten (10) or more business days from the start of the class with no penalty.
If you cancel less than ten (10) business days from the start of the class, you are responsible for 100% of the course fee.
Private Classes
All requests to cancel a Fast Lane / Directions Training delivered, private class must be made via e-mail to your Fast Lane / Directions Training Account Manager.
You may cancel or reschedule more than ten (10) business days from the start of the class with no penalty.
If you cancel less than ten (10) business days from the start date, you are responsible for 100% of the course fee.
Cisco Data Center or Cisco Cloud Courses (Public & Private)
All requests to cancel a Cisco Data Center or Cisco Cloud class reservation must be made via e-mail to your Fast Lane / Directions Training Account Manager.
You may cancel or reschedule more than eighteen (18) calendar days from the start of the class with no penalty.
If a Learner chooses to reschedule, the payment already received will be applied to the new class.
If a cancellation request is made within 18 days of the class start date, no refund will be provided, regardless of payment method.
Partner-Delivered Classes
For Partner-delivered courses, if a reservation is canceled or rescheduled fewer than fifteen (15) business days before the class start date, the entire original course fee will be forfeited. An additional course fee will be required for the new reservation.
*Fast Lane / Directions Training, or one of its Partners, reserves the right to cancel a course for any reason and without penalty more than ten (10) business days before the start of the class.
Class Attendance Privacy Policy:
All parties are expressly prohibited from the use of any recording device during a class presentation. In-person classes prohibit the use of camcorders, cell phones or any other audio and/or video recording devices. Online classes prohibit the use of video capture software or any other audio and/or video recording devices. The material covered in class is not to be recorded or rebroadcasted in any capacity as this constitutes a theft of intellectual property.
Class Attendance/Course Completion:
The student agrees to abide by any policies or procedures of any Fast Lane / Directions Training class or training location. Student agrees to participate regularly in class, follow the instructions of the training staff and the representatives of the Fast Lane / Directions Training organization. Student will refrain from any and all activities that could impede or impair proper execution of class delivery.
Upon completion of your class attendance, you will be provided with a post-course evaluation. Your feedback is extremely important to Fast Lane / Directions Training and our partners. Once your course evaluation is complete, you will be eligible to receive your certificate of course completion.
Rescheduling:
All requests to reschedule a Fast Lane / Directions Training delivered registration must be in writing via e-mail to ClientServices@FastLaneUS.com or faxed to us at 919-882-8036.
Public Classes
Students may reschedule a registration up to ten (10) business days before the scheduled start date without penalty.
Rescheduling will be defined as transferring the registration to the same course on a different date or transferring to another course of equal or lesser value up to 6 months from the original course start date.
Partner Delivered Classes
For Partner delivered courses, if a student reschedules less than fifteen (15) business days before the class, the entire original course fee may be forfeited. An additional course fee may be required for the new registration.
* You are allowed two (2) reschedules. After a second reschedule, the entire original course fee will be forfeited, and an additional course fee will be required for a new registration.
Substitutions:
Student substitutions are permitted prior to the start of the class. All substitutions must be submitted in writing to info.US@FastLane.net or faxed to us prior to the start of class.
No Shows:
Failure to attend without prior written notice to the start date of the course will be considered a "no show" and will result in forfeiture of the full course price including NetApp courses paid for with NetApp Training Units. Under these conditions, Fast Lane / Directions Training, at its own discretion may allow you to re-sit another session of the same or lower priced course.
Guaranteed To Run Courses:
Fast Lane / Directions Training has a published list of sessions marked as “Guaranteed to Run” that appear on scheduled course listings as well as denoted throughout the Fast Lane / Directions Training website. Fast Lane / Directions Training reserves the right to remove a session from the “Guaranteed to Run” list if it is currently more than thirty (30) days from the course start date. If one of the classes denoted as "Guaranteed to Run" is still listed on our schedule less than thirty (30) days prior to the start date, the class will not be canceled. Fast Lane / Directions Training reserves the right, however, to change the schedule of a guaranteed class if prevented from delivering the class by causes beyond our control such as but not limited to: labor disputes, civil commotion, war, governmental regulations or controls, casualty, inability to obtain materials or services or Acts of God. If Fast Lane / Directions Training is forced to change the schedule, Fast Lane / Directions Training will reschedule the class to run within a reasonable period of time.
Promotional Offers:
Courses, where a promotional offer applies, must meet the following conditions at the time of registration as well as any other terms and conditions listed on the Special Offers page of this website in conjunction with the promotional offer.
- Promotional offers are only applicable to US & Canada residents.
- Promotional offers do not apply to Partner-Delivered classes unless otherwise noted.
- Cannot combine CLC, NTU, SATV, GTV or VTC payment with any promotional offer, unless otherwise noted.
- Cannot accept Training Acceleration Program (TAP) funds for promotions.
- Promotional offers are only applicable to the cost of the course.
- All promotional offers are non-refundable and cannot be combined with any other pre-existing or promotional discounts unless otherwise noted.
- Promotional offers are restricted to availability and offered dates which are listed with each offer on the Special Offers page of this website.
- Must register, attend and pay for course in full to receive promotional offer as applicable.
- When using a Promo Code for online registrations, the price that appears on the form and on your confirmation letter will NOT reflect the discount for that particular Promo Code. The discount will ONLY appear on your invoice.
- By accepting the terms of the promotion, you acknowledge that it is permissible by your employer/sponsoring organization to do so.
- Fast Lane / Directions Training reserves the right to cancel or modify promotions at any time without prior notice.
Schedule:
The normal class day begins at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 4:30 p.m. each day. Some courses may have longer days (e.g.: Boot Camps). These longer hours will be communicated via your confirmation email.
